What started as a talk of passing the torch soon turned into a literal hot potato situation when Owain's enthusiasm knocked over the very same torch within the tent they're talking in. Strangely, Frederick seemed fine with the mess they created.

The first thing he did was to yell at their faces, the second thing he did was to wriggle like a caterpillar to get himself free from the bindings they wrapped him in.

inigo / kougyoku; falling
"...So flat angels do fall from heaven." That was all he said before the princess slapped his face, considering his face was between her nonexistent mounds.

There are two things he learned from this debacle: That Growlithes are easily excited, and that they could breath fire accidentally when within that state.

It took him 10 hours to get Kisa to pet him again without being scared by it, and 16 hours to get the Growlithe to stop looking like a kicked puppy.

Vinea
Women, Inigo thought to himself as a huge torrent of water drowned their enemies, while Kougyoku is looking satisfied at herself.

Could be really scary when provoked.

When he thought of the time he compared her hair to a flower he's never seen before, he said this:

"You couldn't be compared to any flower, Kougyoku. For you are the only flower I could see from within my heart."

They got each other's back, they know. Unfortunately for most of the times, it's Inigo who lays down injured, while Noire went on a berserk rampage to cover Inigo's gallant 'chivalry' in the fields of battle.

She preferred bonfire as opposed to candle, and he respected that. Fortunately her smile when he presented her with a candle-lit dinner ( that didn't go well at all ) was not one that said 'I'm going to kill you for reminding me of it.'

It said 'Thank you, I really appreciate it.'

hot cross buns
He was never a fan of spices in his bread. Though, he can't deny that her buns were an exception to that rule.

Their warmth, after all, always reminded him of home, no matter how far they are from their parents they already parted with.

It could be said that Ephraim's heart was as hard as stone when it came to battles and matters regarding his own country. If there was one thing everybody could agree on, that would be the fact that when Eirika's body was lowered into a casket after a disastrous battle, Ephraim's stricken face was all that told them that even a heart made of stone could be shattered in one swift moment.
